Youth Conference 2010

The whole Gang, I was not super stoked about being responsible for these girls on the side of a huge mountain.
This prank the girls played the last night was hilarious. Just picture all these glow sticks in the pitch dark doing the robot, pretty good.
Daren thought we did not make enough BBQ beef, we showed him by making him eat all the leftovers out of Dave's Bare hands.

Youth conference was so awesome, I went in thinking I would have some fun but it was SO FUN. We camped up above snowbird and it was beautiful. We shared a campsite with a mom and baby moose (thought my Grandpa Orme would like to hear that!) and tons of wild flowers and flowing streams. It was the perfect setting. One night at 11:00 pm we hiked to Cecret lake and it is now one of my favorite things I have done, ever. I was so proud of all the kids that were able to come, they were so great. I loved staying up waaaaay to late every night with Chrissy Lindsay and Mary (I missed you Holly!) I am lucky to serve with people I enjoy so much.

Girls camp!

I did my fair share of relaxing/supervising. I felt a lot like my dad who spent half his life at scout camp doing the same thing.
Cute Eliza, we made her play some other girls guitar and serenade us because she is awesome.
This is our little "mail" system. It was so fun! I loved that when I got to camp I had so many sweet notes from the girls.

Most the girls and leaders who were at camp, a few were there before I got there so I missed them. (Holly, sad I missed my partner in crime)

I have found that you are either one of those people that loved Girls camp as a kid or hated it. I loved it so I was very excited to attend my first girls camp as a leader. It did not disappoint! I had a blast. We did so many fun things and I was only there for a day! We have such good girls in our ward who made the whole experience awesome for me and for each other. Love these girls.

The thriller of a lifetime

I loved dressing up in 80s gear, and the girls did as well! A big thanks to Kris for lending me the outfit, I need to get it back to her for her Monday morning aerobics class.

Halloween Fun

This week for YW we carved pumpkins. I strung Halloween lights on my back patio and it worked out perfectly. Cute young women!

The finished products, I made Curt come out and judge them, he gave us all an award, I like that.

Love being in Young womens so I have an outlet for all the fun things I want to do!

Deacon was beyond thrilled to be a apart of the fun, all night long he kept saying, " wow pumpkin fire" Overall a big hit!
