You do not want to miss this

This is Deacon with his Daddy and Uncle Isaac performing death defying stunts. Can you believe I stood back and filmed this? Also I do not know if you can hear over my obnoxious loud voice but after each trick Deacon counts for them to do it again.

Welcome to Utah Elliott

Everybody chilling out eating.
Can not believe how tiny he still is!

I love how huge his cousin Desmond looks next to him!

Look who ruined the picture- Deacon. Laney looked like a little loving mother in each picture we took holding the baby.

Last Sunday we had the Leasures and Taylors family the Williams over for a BBQ to introduce Kendyl and Taylors baby to everyone. It was a lot of people and a lot of fun. I love having a big backyard where you can have a lot of people over, it is so fun. So glad we could meet the little guy, so cute!

Beneath the pale moonlight!

When I was probably 5 or 6 the movie American Tale was very popular. This was also around the time when my mom made me sing "Somewhere out there" to each and every soul who entered our house. (including the Jehovah Witnesses who became my moms friends and came each week just sure this week was the week they would finally convert her, they have not converted her....yet.) Anyhow Curt had a copy of this movie and Deacon has been obsessed with the "mouse" movie this week.

While I watched the "mouse" movie with Deacon I did not remember how sad it is! The poor Mousekawits think their poor mouse son has died. When they finally find Fievel I had tears streaming down my face. I was so happy for his parents! So to everyone who you might be missing just remember "it helps to think your sleeping underneath the same big sky."

In this great new bed?

Hawaii, Finally!

I have been on three trips with Matt and each has resulted in a sunburn, this is the best one yet.
Nothin says "hot bikini babes" like a white convertable. And nothing says "kick butt dudes" like a jeep wrangler which is what they drove. Hilarious.

We logged lots of hours laying on the beach listening to music from Kris' ipod which Curt dubbed "yacht rock" you can imagine what kind of music that was. But the beach was unbelievable, so fun.

The view from our hotel room, I ran on that little path almost every morning down to the beach. We kept on our training schedule while there and eight miles is still rough even in Hawaii.

We had so much fun eating good food, throwing the football in the ocean (especially when Curt hit Matt directly in the eye) and laying out til we were Maui Babes.

In honor of my Dad

I bought this boondoggle for 10 cents a yard at cub scout camp it cost 30 cents total. The cubs were mighty impressed with my "boondoggled" headband which is actually in fact just braided. Ha! I showed those scouts. Also I survived two days in cub scout camp, I just got my ticket to heaven.
