Blogging Recession
I am in the middle of a blogging funk. We are doing fun stuff and I have lots to say but I suppose just like the rest of the world I am in a recession. Right now we are in Louisiana having a good ole time eating way too many beignets and wrestling alligators. Catch up when we get back!

I am not dead......
The new Nordstrom is now open. In case you have been missing me (which I sure you have) I have been slaving away in preparation for the new store to open. Thankfully this last weekend it finally did. It is huge and glorious and you all need to come see me at the MAC counter right front and center of the new store. More exciting is that I am cutting back my hours and working one less day a week! Wahoo! More time to be home and enjoy my family and of course all you people. P.S. Go to the Nordstrom bistro and try the bread pudding, seriously I am not usually a fan but it is ridonkulous.

I would never,

Forget to blog about book club! Who do you think I am Rachel? I love reading something that makes me feel accomplished after finishing it. A Heartbreaking work of Staggering Genius did just that. It was a little complex a lot vulgur and very funny. I really enjoyed reading and talking about it with my fellow book worms! I went crazy with the "heart" theme and made heart shaped pizzas, so much fun! Love you book club!

Scenes from:
Be Mine! Please?
I Love love and I especally love Valentines day. I love making valentines and giving little gifts and making sugar cookies and such. This year was especially fun because I capitolized on Deacons love of "bloons" or balloons. See for yourself.
I love you love day.
Couples only retreat

We had a great time on our getaway with Annie and Alfie me and Deacon. We headed down to St. George for some sun and relaxation. Some of the highlights of the trip were: Laughing til our stomaches hurt (the best kind) embarassing Annie so bad that her first instinct was to say "Honey!" just like when her husband embarasses her. Watching Deacon and Alfie fight to the death over a backpack. Deacon falling asleep in the car and waking up and taking a bite of his sandwhich and falling back asleep before even chewing. Staying up way to late craftingour life away. Eating yummy dinners. Talking and talking and talking. Seeing our boys play together. I wanna go back!
