WOW.
This is the latest and greatest word Deacon has learned. He said it yesterday when I opened his toy chest and he peered inside. He also said it when I was holding him singing him a song or two before I layed him in his crib he looked up at me and quietly said "Wow". I like to think he was reflecting on our awesome day complete with trip to the pool with Alfie and Annie, pizza with my family a great lunch of pb&j with homemade strawberry jam or maybe he was just thinking of all the fun he had just being with his mom today. I will be thinking of how much fun I had today as I drift off to sleep. WOW.

Copy cat

Everyone else is doing it and they are getting such fun memories written about them so lets do it! And if you put it on your blog I promise to write something fantastic about you! Time for some memories! Here are the rules.1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If we're only blogging friends, write about a post that is most memorable. If you don't have a blog and don't know how to sign in, please comment as anonymous.2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you... either on your blog, in my comment box, or I will email you back!3. If you can't say something nice, don't say nothin' at all!

In all his glory!
Believe it or not it is true, the boy walked! When I asked Curtis to take a video of it he said noone will care about this on your blog. He knows me too well, but prove him wrong! Tell me how much you care! Look how cute his wobbly steps are! I can not believe it.

Lazy Summer
***Disclaimer***
Beware of mild nudity, also beware it will make you laugh.
We have been trying to be as lazy as possible this summer and spend lots of time outside. Last week we went swimming with Kris my sister in law and my niece Bailey. It was super hot outside and Deacon was extra tired when we got home so I put a fresh diaper on him and put him down for a nap in just a diaper and tee shirt since it was so hot. This is what I found when I checked on him:
The best part of it all was that he threw his diaper over the side of the crib. When he woke up I said "Deacon where is your diaper?" and he patted his bum to look for it! Classic.
